Bluetooz was created so that both the auction seller and buyer could meet locally. With Bluetooz you can "See it, before you bid it". Use common sense when paying for or receiving payment for an auction item. If it is a local auction (99% are) you should take the time to go and view the item in person.

Make payment for an item in a form of payment the seller will accept; sellers can put payment by cash only in their auction listing. Buyers take the item with you when you make payment. If you cannot take it with you then make arrangements to complete the transaction (payment) when you can take possession of the item.

Scams that you should be aware of and stay away from, all are scams:

Sending Money via Western Union or Money Gram

Seller offers to send you a Certified Check or USPS Money Order stating you will receive an email confirmation from USPS (there is no such service) and the cashiers check are always fake. Your bank will hold you responsible if you deposit them into your account.

Using an online Escrow Service, 99% of these services are fake

Stating Bluetooz will guarantee payment or delivery of item, Bluetooz does not guaranty any type of payment or guaranty delivery of any item.

Sending partial payment or advance fee for an item or service

Flag any item you believe is fraudulent or illegal we review each flag
